Wine Club
Welcome to the Smoke N Mirrors Wine Club. You have received a link to this page because you have supported an event, visited the Oakland Gallery, or you are a friend of someone who has and is thinking of you!
I started inviting musicians to play in the Gallery because of my love of music and I thought it might be a way to bring people to my Gallery to see my photography. I support local non-profit events and functions in the Gallery and I applied for and received a beer and wine license to bolster these activities (I'm also an avid lover of good spirits). So, I ended up with a beer and wine license, but I only hold a dozen or so functions a year in the Gallery. My license allows me to sell spirits on premises or to go, so I started thinking... Why not share this opportunity with my friends and supporters? So thus, the Smoke N Mirrors Wine Club is born!
I looked at other slick wine clubs, looked at their prices, then threw away all their materials after I decided what I didn't want in a wine club. Most wine clubs include annual subscriptions you are locked into, wines you don't want, shipping costs, increased costs after the initial "promotion", and on and on. That's NOT what the Smoke N Mirrors Wine Club is like. You can purchase seven (7) bottles of wine from the wines I have available at the time. Based on current availability, the current price, with tax, is $120 dollars. You can place an order once a month, once a year, or just once. There are no future obligations or commitments if you decide to buy, and you can stop by and pick up your order at your convenience. The price and wine selection may change over time, but you can choose when and what you want, whenever you want.
I purchase new wines for my events, based mostly on my personal preference. As I purchase new wines or as you make suggestions and I try new selections, I'll add them to the list.
