A somewhat abstract space, but another take on the grape, from a mountain road the rain and tree pollen will place their must, the age and sweat in the dirt will, at your first taste, give you a lust for this precious mountain fruit sprung up from the dust.

Wine on the Vine - this is a macro view of our daily table friend. Some say had society not discovered coffee, the industrial revolution might not have occurred thanks to these small wonders. Not sure that is the case, but wouldn't it be great to have a real "wine country" to compare? For those of you that might care, this is a young, green, Old Fashioned grape - sweet purple hued skin, sour gummy middle and seeds!
The Beast rolled over and now it swallows all comers. Did it win or did it loose? Will you take a ride down its slippery ribs? Will it be fun, or will you be a done'r?
Camden Yards on a soft, summer night. This stadium was built to cause us to reminisce - best of the new and charm of the old - so black and white seemed right.
The other pair is where? You know the ole' saying, "What happens on the melted ice..., (may) stays (smell bad) on the melted ice (come Spring)." Where DO you suppose those skates ended up?
Amazing to think this rail car is over 50 years old. Made of stainless steel,
this passenger car is now housed at the Baltimore B&O Railroad Museum. I ran into this woman in the Baltimore Inner Harbor, my latest cityscape photo-shoot. Everyone on the street was admiring her dog and stopping to say hello. The moment was right, I asked very polite, and they posed as if the hounds had stopped chasing them as the day turned to night. A couple that pretty? Yea, right.
This old passenger car is housed in the B&O Museum in Baltimore. The Museum is an old Roundhouse, like many around the country that are now no more. There was a roundhouse in Elkins where I once went to school. It was torn down for, well, to..., well, .... I don't know why it was demolished. I'm sure someone thought they had a good reason to do so. If you ride a train there now, don't expect to turn around. You'll have to go home backward if you can go home at all.
90 degrees is not a problem when you don't have a purse or wallet, watch or
precious shoes. If it is hot out and you need to cool down, kids know what old people have forgotten - Waterworks. |
